Mosmart Marine 3 Fire is a unique, biodegradable, worldwide-patented, firefighting product. Aqueous film forming foam (AFFF) is coming under increased scrutiny with the recent COP26 discussing the phasing out of persistent polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). These harmful, human-made substances are often called the forever chemicals, persisting in the environment and causing damage to humans and wildlife. Although many have now been phased out in the UK, smaller carbon chain molecules still exist in firefighting foams to maintain the foam structure and create the film needed to extinguish the fire.
Mosmart Marine3 Fire is an effective alternative to foam-based products. The biodegradable surfactants are simply added to normal water and work to reduce the surface tension and enable deeper penetration. Fires are extinguished faster and reignition is prevented.
Mosmart Marine3 Fire is independently tested by Gresham (SMS) Ltd. and CE-Certified for use worldwide for Class A fires, with Class B status in testing phase.

What is Mosmart Marine3 Fire?
Mosmart Marine 3 Fire is a uniquely formulated, biodegradable firefighting agent containing M3T—a fully biodegradable anionic surfactant developed through scientific research. The residue of M3T is non-harmful to the environment, making it a safe and sustainable choice for firefighting applications. Marine 3 Fire holds worldwide patents and has been independently tested and CE certified for use on all Class A fires. It outperforms water and foam-based alternatives by extinguishing fires more rapidly, while significantly reducing smoke, toxic emissions, and fire temperature.
How is Marine3 Fire applied?
Marine 3 Fire is added directly to a fire truck’s water tank or a portable pump system and delivered through the hose in the same way as water. It can be inducted using all standard methods—inline inductors, around-the-pump proportioners, and pickup tubes.
What dilution is recommended for use?
Marine 3 Fire is a highly concentrated formula, requiring only a small percentage dilution for effective use. For most Class A fires, just a 1% dilution is sufficient, while Class B fires typically require a 2–3% dilution. We're happy to work with you to determine the ideal dilution ratio for your specific application.
In which case is Marine 3 Fire used?
As a Class A certified firefighting agent, Marine 3 Fire is especially effective on materials such as wood, paper, textiles, and organic waste. This makes Marine 3 Fire suitable for wildfires by penetrating deeper into fire zones, lowering fire temperatures, and enabling safer advancement for fire crews. Also in waste fires, it penetrates deep into debris, reducing smoke and toxins, leading to faster and more efficient operations.
Since when is Marine 3 Fire available for use?
Marine 3 Fire was first tested in 2016 in the United Kingdom. In the years that followed, it underwent further testing for global use and was proven effective across a wide range of fire scenarios. Since then, it has been adopted by fire departments in parts of Spain, Italy, Greece, Cyprus, and Turkey.
